After attending The Future of Voice & Search workshop hosted by Interactive Minds, we captured the highlights to reveal the emerging search behaviours of voice.
Although Voice Search is trending more rapidly in the US, there is no ignoring the fact that voice search is on the rise in Australia and will likely continue to grow. However, when reviewing the stats keep in mind an important quote from Roy Amara “We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run”.
Household numbers of those using smart speakers are growing and according to Gartner, it’s predicted that 30% of web browsing sessions will be done without a screen by 2020.
Based on the trends that show people want convenience to acquire information and the intent of your users searching habits – is it time to consider a voice search content strategy for your company?
